Malagasy treasures project

Looking for artisan products from madagascar?

When Chloe and her friends returned from Madagascar in 2019, she brought back many souvenirs and jewellery items during the 3 months she was there. However, as covid-19 happened and time went on she wished that she could buy Malagasy products in the UK. Chloe searched online for a long time and reached out to many friends but couldn’t find anywhere that sold these amazing handmade artisan goods from Madagascar.

The idea was born

Having had no luck finding Malagasy artisan goods to purchase online, Chloe decided that it would be amazing to share these treasures and their makers stories, whilst further supporting the Malagasy community. Whilst we are here in Madagascar we will be purchasing artisan goods and learning more about why people choose to make a living this way and the joy making and selling these products brings. Meanwhile, 50% of the profits will be put towards the creation of a grant fund to drive entrepreneurship in Madagascar.

Are you ready?

Here at TSAP Travel we don’t believe in people donating just for the sake of it we want to show you where your money’s going and where we can give you something in return. This is why when you visit our Donation Page you can’t just ‘donate’ you get to choose what you would like to donate to. For example, a volunteer, our accommodation or one of our local teachers. However, if you’re looking to see your money go even further and get something in return we highly recommend you keep an eye out on the 18th of September so you can collect some artisan goods through your donation via the Indiegogo platform.
