Group Trip Booking
Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all Madagascar group expedition bookings with TSAP Travel. Last updated May 2026.

1. Booking & Confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed once TSAP Travel has received a completed booking form and the required deposit payment.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total trip cost per person is required to secure your place.
  • The balance is due no later than 90 days before the departure date. For bookings made within 90 days of departure, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
  • Places are subject to availability and TSAP Travel reserves the right to decline any booking.

2. Pricing

  • All prices quoted are per person and are ground-only — they do not include international flights. You are responsible for booking your own flights.
  • Prices are quoted in GBP (£) and are valid at the time of quotation. TSAP Travel reserves the right to adjust prices prior to confirmation due to significant changes in supplier costs, currency fluctuations, or other external factors.
  • Once your booking is confirmed and deposit received, the price of your trip is guaranteed unless you amend your booking.

3. Cancellation by the Traveller

  • Cancellations must be notified in writing to hello@tsaptravel.com.
  • Cancellations received more than 90 days before departure: deposit forfeited, no further charge.
  • Cancellations received 61–90 days before departure: 50% of total trip cost payable.
  • Cancellations received 31–60 days before departure: 75% of total trip cost payable.
  • Cancellations received 30 days or fewer before departure: 100% of total trip cost payable.
  • We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation cover.

4. Cancellation or Changes by TSAP Travel

  • TSAP Travel reserves the right to cancel any trip due to insufficient bookings, safety concerns, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our control.
  • If we cancel a trip before departure, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid to TSAP Travel (excluding any third-party costs already incurred).
  • We may make changes to the itinerary before or during the trip where necessary. We will always endeavour to provide a trip of equivalent standard.

5. Travel Insurance

  • Adequate travel insurance is a condition of booking for all travellers on TSAP group trips.
  • Your policy must cover medical expenses, emergency repatriation, cancellation, and personal liability as a minimum.
  • You must provide evidence of insurance prior to departure upon request.

6. Health, Fitness & Participation

  • You are responsible for ensuring you are in good health and physically able to participate in the activities included in your chosen trip.
  • Certain activities may not be suitable for all participants. TSAP Travel reserves the right to exclude a traveller from any activity deemed unsafe for them.
  • Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.

7. Passports, Visas & Documentation

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport, any required visas, and all other necessary travel documentation for your destination.
  • TSAP Travel accepts no liability for any costs arising from inadequate documentation.

8. Liability

  • TSAP Travel acts as agent for various suppliers (hotels, transport providers, activity operators). Our liability in relation to these third-party services is limited to selecting them with reasonable care and skill.
  • TSAP Travel is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, expense, or inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, strikes, or pandemic-related disruptions.
  • Nothing in these terms limits TSAP Travel's liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence.

9. Code of Conduct

  • All travellers are expected to behave respectfully towards local communities, the environment, and fellow group members at all times.
  • TSAP Travel reserves the right to remove from the trip any traveller whose conduct is deemed disruptive or harmful, without refund.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
